EasyAsso

What a working group decides no longer gets lost in a WhatsApp thread.

The ground

An association runs on its volunteers: an evening to staff, a tournament to organise, a training course over several sessions, a board that decides and teams that do. In Senegal all of this goes through WhatsApp threads, where a decision taken on Tuesday cannot be found on Saturday, and nobody knows any more who is covering which post.

Association management tools exist, but they assume a computer, a stable connection and a treasurer who likes spreadsheets. On the ground there is a phone, a network that comes and goes, and people who already have a job.

What we built

An application each association fills in itself. The directory of its members, who create their own access through a link or a QR code. A space per team, with its thread, its documents and its polls. Events broken down into posts and time slots where volunteers sign themselves up, with any post still missing someone shown in red. Multi-session programmes, with attendance and reminders ready to send the day before by WhatsApp. Announcements, with a notification on the phones of those who asked for it. And a public site the association composes without a contractor.

Everything is done from the phone, the application installs on the home screen, and times are in Dakar time. Each association’s data is kept separate, and every member can export or erase their own.

What Edicore does here

We designed the application, we publish it and we run it. A space is opened together with the association: a demonstration on its own teams, the chair receives their access and invites the board, then the first event is created together, with its posts. The Association de la Jeunesse de Cap Skirring, the first association to use it, is taking it up.

What it shows

EasyAsso was built for a volunteer’s phone, not a manager’s desk: every feature replaces a WhatsApp thread, none adds one. It is the same starting point as a company AI: the way teams already work, the tools they actually read, and nothing that asks them to change their habits before they begin.
