Ambassadeurs de Casamance
Bringing a region together around a label nobody can buy.
ambassadeurscasamance.org ↗The ground
Casamance has no shortage of hotel keepers, guides, producers or institutions that want the region to grow. What it lacked was somewhere those people meet and decide together what to do with it.
The same question as Ambassadeurs de Provence, on ground with neither the same means nor the same habits: how do you keep a collective effort alive when everyone already has a full-time job?
What we built
The association’s site and the journeys of those who join it: institutions, hotel keepers, local operators, diaspora, each arriving with their own reasons and leaving with what they came for. Thematic working groups, the regional journal and membership are all live.
And the "Ambassadeur de Casamance" label: free, valid for twelve months, renewable, awarded on hospitality and service. Its founding rule fits in one sentence — it cannot be bought, and a business that pays the ecosystem nothing can still earn it. That is what makes it worth something.
What Edicore does here
We created the project and we run it. The association charges nothing and collects nothing: it is a non-profit structure, and that was decided at the outset so the label would stay independent of any commercial interest.

What it shows
A system is worth what its rules are worth. Making the label free and independent of any subscription cost an obvious revenue stream, and that refusal is exactly what gives it value. Designing a company AI raises the same question: what you decide not to do counts as much as what you build.
